Busy, much like the beavers of yore.

Sorry I've been m.i.a, but I've had my older sister from CA in town this week, and those bottles of wine just can't drink themselves, you know. We've had a great time so far, mostly just sitting around, eating, drinking and catching up. My little sister has just moved back from India as well, so for the first time in a long time, we all got to hang out together. If you smelled Aveda in the air and heard the faint sound of females snorting and giggling this week and didn't know why, well that was just us disrupting the Universe again.

More on this later, as I have to go as I have a final loop to jump through before we get this little dude at 4:00 today:

OUR NEW DOGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't really have a name, so I'll let you know what it is when we decide. I am in deep, deep love with this little ball of mutty, snuggly goodness.

On a side note: does anyone know a good cat therapist? I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to need one soon...

Happy Friday, my long-weekend-enjoying balls of canine goodness. Happy Friday.

XO

Adorable! He kind of looks like I imagine my dog would look if you put him in a magical shrinking machine and reduced him in size by a factor of 10 or so. Hee.

Great sisters picture! My two sisters were with me in June. One from Pa the other on her way to live in New orleans. Had a great visit. I too am the middle one.

Cute dog!! The cats will probably just think another funny looking kitty is joining the WM household!
Is he a rescue pup?

Have a happy long weekend too!

Jen named her chihuahua "Tiny Jewels."

So, there's a thought ...

Yup- he's a rescue. They think he's a chihuahua/miniature pincher mix- he comes up to just below my knees and had long legs for his size. He's VERY goofy-looking, which makes him perfect for us.

Small dog, small poop. And not a clue about litter boxes.

Your new family member should be virtual friends with my Mr. Rocky Balboa. They would either hate each other or sniff each other's buttholes obsessively.

He looks like a "Hector" to me, and way to go for adopting and saving a life!

Yes, the kitties WILL need therapy.

We had got a boxer mix years ago and my cat Lucky never forgave me for subjecting him to Buck's stupidity and slobbery-ness.

The doggie looks sweet.

Will he be playing dress-up with you soon?

Yay for coming to the other side. Even if your dog is the size of a cat (or smaller).

My newest dog desire: an English bulldog. But I don't think I could keep up with 2 dogs and a bajillion kids and a husband and...

I don't think I've ever commented before here. Fun retro pics and the doggy looks like a chuck to me for some reason. I'm looking forward to what you come up with.

Oh, my, he is cute! Hope the little ankle-biter has some extra thick skin for when the cats start using him as a scratching post!

Your cats are going to make mincemeat out of that animal.

I think you should conduct a slutty contest and award prizery for a name if you so choose to use it. Of course, if you submit the winning name, then you should win the prize.

He looks like good blog fodder, very dressupable, and super snuggly. Just that little pic compels me to want to pet the shit out of him. Be sure to stock up on the poop bags!

Whiskeymarie said...

Dcap- We were told that he is probably a mix of Miniature Pincher & Chihuahua. And believe it or not, he's even cuter in person. Like, melt your heart cute.
