West coast Whiskey v. Midwest Whiskey
I'm leaving you for a bit. Don't be sad.
I'll be in Sonoma/San Fransisco for a few days, terrorizing the locals.
I promise pictures.
I'm not bringing my laptop, but if there is a computer handy I'll check in.
Gotta go- the ativan is starting to kick in and I'm getting a bit dreeeaaaammmy- did I mention how much I hate flying?
If you've ever seen the Simpsons episode where Marge is in the airplane and starts to have a freakout/meltdown before takeoff and starts to run up and down the aisle like a caged animal...
that's me.
Thank you, gods of pharmacy, for glorious antianxiety drugs.
So- have a great weekend, my little deep-fried balls of turkey custard. We'll continue this one-sided conversation another day.
XO
WM
p.s. As to my previous post, maybe I'll think of more possible Halloween costumes over the weekend...
Maybe.

Have a great trip! The weather starting on Sunday and for the next 5 days is supposed to be absolutely beautiful. I live about 4 hour's drive south of San Fran, and we're supposed to be in the 80's next week. Woohoo!
Have fun, WM! Drink loads of wine for me. :)
I hope your trip is FABulous and you get lots of R&R. Stacie
fun! have a great holiday! xoxo
Ooh, have a good time, hon!!
I'm freaked out to fly, too. I didn't try meds last time, though (I was flying alone..how scary could that get?)
san francisco
You'll be missed. Have oodles of fun and if you have a wild hair I am just a hop skip and a jump away...ok well maybe a little more than that...
I'm so jealous.
A friend of mine gets over her flight terror on a mixture of alcohol and Dog Vallium. She reckoned it worked a treat and frankly I didn't feel inclined to argue with someone on pet narcotics.
I sure hope you're going to catch up with Bright Yellow World while you're there.
have fun!
Have a great trip! Can't wait to see pictures. :)
yuck. i hate flying too. but it would be worth it for a trip to the west coast! enjoy!
Did you get to see the "lights out"?
Give 'em hell kid!
Enjoy our Cali weather, it's been nice lately not to mention the vino up there.
Pssst, if you guys like wine; I highly suggest the "next" Napa Valley (if not already) within the Cali Central Coast. (www.pasowine.com)
The central coastline area is Cali's best kept secret and not nearly as infested with elitist fucking yuppies.
Enjoy WM.
Cheers
Did you get me anything? Because I couldn't help but notice that you didn't ask me for my T-shirt size before you left.
Fingers crossed for a Golden Gate Bridge shotglass.
