The secret ingredient

Taking a cue from my bloggy lesbian wife, Gwen- my night tonight in recipe form:

Totally Awesome Solo Saturday Night Shake and Bake

Take one (1) Pizza Luce 12" with chicken, broccoli, sundried tomatoes, goat and mozzarella cheese,
Movie(s) to be determined (can't decide if I'm feeling like the monumentally depressing but amazing Breaking the Waves with Ms. Emily Watson or something stupid with Will Farrell or 70's Woody Allen talkies, we'll see)
Sprinkle in:
  • Small Greek salad
  • Sauvignon Blanc
  • Kitty make-out
  • Dance party with old vinyl on our new turntable
  • Lindt Cherry-Chile Chocolate square or twelve (bought by the Mr. who knows my tastes so very, very well) for dessert
  • Dress-up time, props may be involved
  • Probable late night interweb drunken blogging and/or shopping
Shake well, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1200 minutes,

Delicious, delicious Saturday night deliciousness.

Sounds like a hoot.

Lindt makes some amazing stuff. Have you had their dark chocolate bar with the raspberry filling?

Those rock my world.

That sounds like the perfect evening and kind of similar to mine, except we got spicy take-out Bang Bang Shrimp (that's the real name of it; it's from a restaurant called Bonefish Grill) and I'm currently waiting for a frigging basketball to end so we can watch Pineapple Express. It better bring the funny. And oh yeah - I'll be making out with a dog instead of two kitties.
My verification word is "mante" - sounds like some lacy man underwear.

I can OD on Lindt if I am not careful. Long live German and Austrian chocolate. Hurshey's suck :)

Are those kitties of an age to consent?

Hey we made homemade pizza last night for supper.

I hope you aren't made at me for my last 'Cooking with Dr. Monkey' post. You know I love you and was just kidding.

is 'kitty make-out' code for an interlude with treats from the smitten kitten? If so, that sounds like a nearly perfect evening. if need to get out more.

Wine and Lindt? I'm in.

For any men (not boys) out here on the 'Nets who think I am cute and are single and not gay and not assholes: I'm not really a lesbian. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) That said, Whiskey is MY blog wife so back off. She's mine.

Did you take pictures of dress-up time? Were you wearing your vintage coats? Post! Post! Post!

This sounds like *my* Saturday night! Or maybe it was Friday, I forget. I made a special trip to Sam's Club to buy the holy grail of junk food dinners, 7 Layer Mexi Dip and 2 HUGE bags of Tostitos for $6. Brought them home and tore them up. Shared chips with one kitty, dabbed sour cream from 7LMD on other kitty's nose. Mint Three Musketeers for dessert and late night Interweb shopping.

Wow. I want some of that Lindtness RIGHT NOW.

OK. OR you could spend your Saturday night like I did, with a houseful of small boys watching a Star Wars movie while kung-fu fighting with light sabers made from Tinkertoys. Just as relaxing, I swear.

You had me at the Lindt Cherry-Chile Chocolate square. And of course the pizza and wine didn't hurt.

Oh, lordy. You've done it again, Whiskey me girl. Oh, and by the new mantra - 'Friends don't let friends blog drunk.' Don't ask. Let's just say...I know better, now. Or at least until the next time!

Man, I could take only one viewing of Breaking The Waves. It's amazing, but I need to sustain my will to live.

What a coinky-dink. I made Digiorno pizza for dinner on Thursday!

It kinda sucked.

Breaking the Waves was the movie that finally made me realize I'm not nearly as misogynistic as, say, Lars von Trier.

Pizza Luce, Yum.

Except the mashed potato one - I ate a piece once because we got a bunch delivered at work.
