Because I am even lazier than you thought: my weekend in pictures. Prepare to be dazzled.

I had a wicked craving for this cereal this weekend. Three bowls later, I was underwhelmed.

Stuff I see when I'm out for a walk:

Farmer's Market in St. Paul this Saturday. Everything is local and there is a ton of variety right now. We bought: tomatoes, baby bok choy, swiss chard, brussels sprouts, peppers, onions, rosemary, raspberries, radishes, honeycrisp and Fireside apples and a homeless dude named Marvin. All for $25. You know the economy is bad when a perfectly good hobo goes for under $10.

Oh, and we went to a wedding Saturday night and I looked smokin' hot. Do you think I bothered to take a picture of that? Do you???
Nope.
Use your imagination then. I had makeup on, heels, a lovely little black dress, no paint in my hair and not a frown to be found.

The End.

I'm sure you guys have thought of this, but what about using plaster on the plaster walls instead of paint? We bought some earth clay plaster and put it on two of our living room walls. The texture is awesome and it was pretty easy to apply, although time consuming. I've heard that Venetian plaster is pretty hard to put on unless you're a pro, but this earth clay stuff was easy. Plus, no VOC's! And you'd be "green"!

Chiada- Funny you should say that. Next weekend will involve plastering of some sort. If THAT doesn't work, I'm just burning down the damn house.
Argh.

I am a freak for farmers markets, and pictures of the bounty contained therein. Thanks for getting me my fix for today.

oooooh yummy farmers market!!

My little (kitty) baby, Manolo, likes to hide in boxes too but it cracks me up even more when he just hides the front part of his body. I'm convinced he actually thinks that if he can't see me, I can't see him... awwwwwww! Too frickin' cute! :D

That produce looks amazing! So jealous. Not of your market, because we have several, but of your motivation to get your butt out there and go to it.

Now I'm going to have the damn Honeycomb song in my head the rest of the week (month). I too, have had a recent disappointment with old cereal of yore. Trix. Loved 'em when I was younger and now they taste like weird little sugarballs made of cardboard. Plus they added blue. Why?
A few weekends ago I painted our TINY bathroom, had no real problems to speak of, but vowed never to do anything like that again. Which means our office will remain Girl Scout Uniform Green until the end of time.

Your weekend involves more pictures than I've taken in two years, unless mug shots count.

The tomatos look yummy. The chicken salad looks yummy too. A tomato should be on the chicken salad. The cereal looks underwhelming. Fudgsicles are good. My imagination is better than any picture. : )

And if u did.... Was it pre or post dress?

I wouldn't mind coming in YOUR honeycomb hideout...nevermind. It's not as nearly as funny without hearing it said in the James Earl Jones voice I just used. Also, the chicken sammich looks awesome. What kind of roll is that?

Hello Kitty wallpaper would totally rock. Nothing says historic house like Hello Kitty!

Oh my girl - I hate to side with Mr. but I must, the Honeycrisp is what it is all about.

And sorry to burst your bubble but I had radish boobies years ago, so while fetching it is a bit retro.

Sorry about the plaster walls. I had them in the last house. I know.

I feel even lazier than you, so will you write on some pictures for me and paint my house? Thanks in advance.

ummm, what the heck is soy mayo? That sandwich looked seriously delish until you broke out the soy mayo. Your healthiness is making me queasy.

That reminds me, I don't care what my kid says, we have to stock up on veggies tomorrow. Green poo be damned.

I must know where the graffiti is located . . . it would be very satisfying to see the opposite of everything Grande Avenue. Thanks for the post card by the way - I never get real mail that isn't bills or the ValPak coupons.

I was going to say something like what WendyB said. I have a bathroom and a spare bedroom which need painting, and hobos are going 2 for the price of 1 in the DC area. Tempted, aren't you?

Love Farmers Markets...and now my goal is to see how much I can buy for under $25. I'll keep YOU posted. I have plaster walls and to eliminate the bubbles I had to scrape the walls and re-texture and then paint again. Try and see if that fixes the problem.

Whiskey--damn you for that Honeycombs song ("Come to the honeycomb hideout!"). However, I am wondering whether your paint problem is an oil-based versus water-based/latex problem. Google it, because I can't remember the details. It's something like you can't paint latex over oil (or vice versa)--or it bubbles. Check it out.

OK, apparently I'm supposed to pay attention to those little red exclamation points beside a blog name in my feed reader, because here I was thinking I was all caught up, and it turns out you've got four posts here I didn't know anything about! Something's up with your feed, but don't worry; it's not just you. I have lots of red exclamation points. Dang.

Back to the point. You're right about Honeycomb (NOT as good as we remember). I've never had a Fireside apple, so at the moment, I have to side with the Mr. And that sandwich looks delicious.
