I'm gonna eat you up, nom, nom, nom...

Well kidlins, I'm off to fly the friendly skies and give the Pacific Northwest a full-frontal assault. I figured I'd post before the Valium kicks in and I start drooling and mumbling about monkeys.

If the house we're staying at has in-ter-net, you'll hear about it before next Friday. If not, you'll have to use your imagination.

Imagine me wrestling a bear.

Or maybe imagine me yodeling and mountain climbing with a guy named Buck McSalmon while wearing jaunty lederhosen.

Or maybe you can imagine me and Fraiser Crane discussing the finer nuances of this year's batch of Cabernet beside a roaring fire in his swanky high-rise pad with a view of the Space Needle.

Or you could, more accurately, imagine me eating everything in my path between Seattle and Portland with the ferocity of a pre-hibernation Grizzly. Keep your kids outta my way, I tells 'ya- nothing even remotely edible is safe.
Watch out.

So, don't think of this as goodbye- think of it as farewell until Oregon kicks me out and takes a restraining order out against me. A week sounds about right.

Happy Friday, my smoked salmon nuggets coated in bear meat and dipped in Tilamook cheddar fondue.
Happy Friday.

XO

One more suggestion ... get a dungeness crab from the Bell Buoy in Seaside and eat it like no one's watching (which for me generally means that I have crab bits up to my elbows and in my hair). That's about as PACNW as you can get. Have fun! Take pictures!

I can attest that are LOTS of great eats from here to Portland. Ok maybe just IN Portland and Seattle. But Tilamook cheese is DELICIOUS. Have fun here- it's an awesome place to visit!

Can't wait...and if you get a second check out my ode to you post.

Oh and the factory tour not that exciting BUT I guess anywhere there is lots of cheese is good. I did go a little crazy in the gift shop. So yeah bring stool sofetener because that cheese is really to die for and you will inevitable eat to much and get plugged up.
Oh and aren't I just a ray of sunshine ;)

Cosmetic dentistry for bears would seem to be a field with enormous untapped potential.

Northwest girl here...you will luv luv luv Seattle. I love it and unfortunately live 300 miles from it but get there when I can. Enjoy Tillamook....watching blocks of cheese go round and round on conveyer belts is more fun if you buy a bottle of wine in the gift shop first and sample that with some of the cheese. Have fun! Seattle is byootiful!!

Have some 'tossed salad and scrambled eggs' if you find them. I hear they are better with beaujoulais nouveau, but it is not in season.

Bye WM. See you later.....OK she's gone. Now lets meet like we planned for the break in. Remember, all we're taking is her underwear. Oh yeah. And the McGone shirt.

I'm sitting at my computer after posting on my blog about my sex life. I take a break to see if you have arrived at the other WM's and nothing. We want details on the crazy escapades of the two WMs. Well, I'm going to go smoke a cig and drink a very tall cool martini. Ok, I am actually going to read a few blogs and drink a few martinis. Hope you are all having a blast!

Darn! The Cheese Factory?! I hate living out here in the country. One more thing I miss about the big city.

If you are going back through Portland via near Tillamook, I reccomend the Blue Heron, great wine shop and lots of fresh made brie!
